About the Role

ASC Equipment is looking for a high-performing Outside Sales Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll drive business-to-business sales with commercial Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) contractors across a defined Southeastern U.S. territory. This is a performance-based, relationship-driven role that rewards self-starters with autonomy, competitive commission, and the opportunity to grow in a trusted and supportive environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead sales efforts from lead generation to closing across your assigned MEP territory
  • Perform blueprint take-offs and prepare quotes in alignment with building code requirements
  • Follow up on quotes and negotiate contracts with contractors and engineers
  • Visit job sites, meet with clients, and collect market intel
  • Collaborate closely with inside sales support to ensure smooth project execution
  • Manage multiple open projects and prioritize efforts effectively
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships while identifying new business opportunities

What You’ll Bring

  • 1+ year of outside sales experience, ideally in MEP, industrial, or construction sectors
  • Familiarity with MS Office and CRM tools
  • Strong technical aptitude and confidence reviewing blueprints/specs
  • Solid understanding of sales cycles, pipeline management, and contract negotiation
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience with seismic design or vibration isolation is a plus
