170,000 sq-ft hospital located in Cornelius, NC. Hospital has a 24-hour emergency department, 30 patient beds, maternity suites, two operating rooms, and an intensive care unit with four ICU beds.
ASC Equipment provided seismic engineering and vibration isolation for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems and equipment.

What We Did
ASC Equipment Provided:
- Provided seismic bracing for all MEP systems including piping, duct, conduit, cable tray, and suspended equipment
- Provided all design and anchorage for MEP equipment
- Provided all specified vibration isolation components for Mechanical equipment
- Identified/designed/provided seismic “V” loops on Mechanical and Plumbing systems for all building joints
- Designed and provided spring isolated structural steel frame for the cooling towers
- Provided all seismic/wind rated support rails for roof mounted pipe and duct including roof penetration curbs
- Provided onsite training including routine site visits to review installation to aid contractors in preparation for 3rd party inspections
